The life of a sports addict
UConn 33 Notre Dame 27

Another Saturday, another frustrating performance by the Irish.  This time ND found a way to lose in double overtime to a UConn team that had a losing record heading into the game.  Granted, UConn had played everyone really well.  However, teams lose those games for a reason.  The same reasons why an ultra-talented ND team is now 6-4 and 4-5 in games decided by 7 points or less.

Congrats to UConn, a team that has been through a lot more than just a trying football season.  Dealing with the murder of a teammate and friend is difficult for anyone.  Especially 18-23 year old young men.

For two years in a row Notre Dame has lost on senior day to an opponent with a losing record.  At least I was not freezing my ass off in the upper deck of Notre Dame Stadium this year.

My take are Charlie Weis and Notre Dame will be next.
