Okay, I hate a lot of people in sports.  However, none more than Lane Kiffin.  It has been a long time since someone has accomplished so much without ever having to earn any of it!  He is a liar, cheat and a phony.  Let’s take a look at reasons why he is such an asshole.

If Lane was not a “Kiffin” he would be a below average citizen working some bush-league job.  He is a member of the lucky sperm club and every opportunity he ever got really goes back to who his daddy is.

Take a look at this quote from his High School coach.

While Kiffin was one of the best players on his high school team, he was also one of the most difficult to coach. He acted as if he knew more than the coaches – “And sometimes,” Leverenz said, “he did” – and often changed plays in the huddle. As smart as Kiffin was, Leverenz said he was difficult to motivate in the classroom and that teachers grew tired of his “shenanigans.”

“He was Monte Kiffin’s sonand football was going to be his main deal in life,” Leverenz said. “That was kind of established. He’d make coaches want to pull their hair out at times. It was Lane Kiffin’s show, and he was going to get the attention.”

Kiffin was such a below average College QB that he passed on his senior season at Fresno State to become a graduate assistant.  Then more opportunities came calling because of daddy. 

Kiffin went on to Colorado State for one year, Jaxonville for a year with the Jags, then Pete Carroll brought him to USC.  Monte had a hand in Lane getting all of those jobs.

Under Pete Carroll (also an asshole)  USC may have had the best 10 year run in their history.  Kiffin road on Carroll’s coattails to a head coaching job with the Oakland Raiders.  Where he failed miserably. 

5 wins and 15 lossess later Kiffin was fired.

Then somehow, Kiffin gets a great job.  The University of Tennessee.  Despite failing once he was on his own to stand on his own accord the Vols gave him a shot.  His one year in Knoxville was also a failure. Kiffin went 7-6.  However Only 3 of those wins were against any semblance of competition.  the other 4 wins were against, Western Kentucky, Ohio, Memphis and Vandy.  So Kiffin was 3-6 against legit teams.  Not to mention all of the drama and recruiting violations.

After a sparkling 12-21 career record as a head coach, countless recruiting violations and drama with other coaches he gets the USC job!!?? 

I have never seen a person fail and get promoted as much as Kiffin.  With USC already under the NCAA microscope for violations it won’t be long until Lane Kiffin runs them into the ground.  USC is about to fall like the Soviet Union.  I can’t wait to watch Kiffin fail again.  Lane Kiffin = Liar,cheat, failure.
